this week in the basement
A family friend recently gave us this tool box. I admit it doesn't sound like something a girl would love. But oh my goodness it is SO nice! Last week when I made Bryce's tent the drill bits were in this drawer. I didn't have to hunt around the basement or email Lee to find them. love it.
All our bins are out of the storage area. Now that they are gone (well not gone, rather moved/recycled/organized) Lee will demo the white shelves. We have a few more tiles to remove before the concrete can be polished.
Meanwhile we're going to make sure this little vintage pencil sharpener gets reused somewhere. It works great and I'm pretty sure it was original to our basement.
Thats it for now! Another slightly random basement update...

oooh, I remember having a pencil sharpener like that in the basement in the house we lived in when I was 2-12! If I close my eyes and picture it, I can smell the freshly sharpened pencils!
