The family has a preference for wood tones and have shaker style, cherry-toned kitchen cabinets, doors and trim. The first board represents the idea of contrasting the wood tones with a darker espresso. The second board introduces a shaker white vanity and warming up the space with wood accents.
While the family discusses whether or not to replace their current floor tile, I will draw a few designs for a new vanity (they plan to use a custom cabinet maker). You can see more ideas here. Will share more as the project progresses! If you have any ideas or advice on floor tile would love to hear it!

We love our b&w hex floor and it wasn't hard to install. Be warned if you get something that isn't just white watch for misprints (we had one). If they are replacing the toilet and/or tub I would do the floor so everything lines up nicely. + for the extra $250 I found ours was totally worth it!
ReplyDeletei saw pictures on your blog, the flooring looks beautiful. did you tear out + install yourself?
DeleteDo they need a custom cabinet maker? I know a great one!
ReplyDeletethey have someone in mind but I'd be happy to share his contact info! :)
DeleteI love penny tiles. So pretty in any style space.
ReplyDeletei do too! I hope we can use them when we remodel our bathroom in a few years
DeleteI love how you put together your inspiration boards. Love your simple, clean and crisp choices in the finishes.
